Deputy Ricquel Cooper has been employed with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) for a total of eight years and has been involved in many aspects of the agency that range from Patrol, School Resource Deputy (SRD), Community Policing Officer (CPO) where she is currently assigned. Deputy Cooper enjoys helping others and dedicates her time outside of work guest speaking with her older sister to the youth about different topics such as; their education, bridging the gap between law enforcement and the community, and making positive life choices. Deputy Cooper also assists with the unhoused population within Pinellas County and has assisted several individuals in transitional housing. Deputy Cooper also makes it a part of her day to visit with the youth at the Lealman Police Athletic League (PAL).
In a short period of time at PCSO, Deputy Cooper has made what she believes to be a huge impact and looks forward to what the upcoming years have in store for her.
